Well I know that I haven't blogged in a while. Life as usual always seems to zip by, usually because we're working and/or I'm working the weekend. So me and Joe had a three day weekend. We thought long and hard on what we could do. There are so many projects that need to get done in the house. Believe it or not we still have painting to do from the build, but have no desire to ever pick up another paint brush again. The weather here has been almost like Seattle. It rains almost every day, sometimes really hard with strong winds. We took the kids to Par Hills High School on the 4th for fireworks. First they started earlier thanusual and it started pouring 5 minutes into them. Oh!! lets get back to our project.
As you can see by the pictures we put down a little paver patio so that we can enjoy the fire pit. The log bench Joey made when one of the trees fell. Jeoy did most of the heavy labor, but the boys did help with getting the pavers and I did some weeding on the slope. A couple of hours into the work it started pouring rain. The kids thought that was fun because we just kept working . Come the end of the day our clothes and shoeswere wet and muddy
